Broadcast Engineer

Nick Besink worked at the New York City PBS station, WNET-13 for 25 years, where he oversaw equipment operations. He did on-air audio and video for the entire run of The MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour with Robert MacNeil, and did video for The Adams Chronicles pilot, several Theater in America and numerous plays, documentaries, operas and concerts. After that he worked for 17 years at the ABC Network where he earned nine Emmy nominations and three Emmy awards for his video work at The View and did video for Nightline. His degree is in Electronics and he is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). Since 2009, Nick has run the community access facility in Oradell, NJ where he resides.
