John Micewicz has over 35 years in Television Experience and almost 40 years of working with professional audio. He studied Mechanical Technology at Saunders Trade and Technical High School in Yonkers, New York and has a BFA specializing in television production and Master of Arts in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology. John is a full time consultant and specializes in PEG and educational facilities. He has severed as the Cable Television Coordinator for the City of New Rochelle since 1998. He also provides Cable TV and Web Streaming Technical Services for the Town of North Castle, New York and is the technical manager for the Town of Yorktown, NY. He also consults as needed with several Towns and Villages in Westchetser County, New York. John also teaches television and radio production and the Dobbs Ferry campus of Mercy College where he also assists the Media Studies Program Head with equipment purchases and installation. He also teaches communications theory at the Rose Hill campus of Fordham University. John’s basic philosophy to studio design was learned in high school where he was taught that the person designing has to know how to build that design and how it will be operated by the end user. Experience has taught him to closely listen to his clients, ask a lot of questions and that one size does not fit all.
